Realme's new concept phone

This week, Realme revealed its new concept phone, which has heightened its level of innovation. The latest tech pioneer breaks the limitations of a usual smartphone's battery life and enhances it to the next level by offering a 10000 mAh battery. The company's VP and CMP posted a new unboxing video, unveiling more details about the device and giving the audience a better idea of these phones. The GT series has always been a premium smartphone series delivered by Realme, and with this new device in the series, the innovation has improved a lot.

The video revealed that the device features an 8.5-mm slim design and weighs 212 grams. This is made possible through silicon-anode technology that offers an energy density of 887wh/l. This innovation surpasses the battery life of standard smartphone batteries, which usually contribute to added bulk. To understand this easily, remember that users can use it for days on a single charge, as Realme used a "mini diamond architecture" to make space for installing a battery. The company also states that this mainboard is the narrowest Android, at 23.4 mm, globally securing over 60 patents.

The device has a monstrous battery life and needs a more capable charging source. For that, the new Realme GT supports 320w fast charging to top up the massive battery unit. This long-lasting battery life is indeed a revolutionary tech advancement, but these innovations could also be seen in the previous devices of the GT series. For example, GT supported 240w wired-fast charging, which was the fastest. Realme utilises a 'triple cold press' method that stops the battery from swelling, along with CGT technology on the cathode, to ensure uniform electrolyte distribution.

To improve performance and safety, the company utilised a reinforced double-groove aluminium film that provides additional protection to the device upon impact. Additionally, the device features a 6.7-inch OLED screen and a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, making it an excellent option for consumers. The smartphone features a semi-transparent back that reveals its internal, innovative design aesthetics.

When will it hit the stores?

We shouldn't expect this new device in stores soon. It will likely debut at the upcoming global launch event for the Realme GT7 series later this month, where we will likely catch a glimpse of this smartphone. So far, we have only viewed this device in an unboxing video, which provides insight into the company's innovation and approach for the future, breaking the limitations of typical smartphones.
