How Can I Get Admission in MBA
Before moving on to the admission process, let us first look at what is MBA. MBA stands for Masters of Business Administration which is a two-year postgraduate level programme. The degree opens a plethora of opportunities in terms of jobs. Students coming from all the streams (Humanities, Commerce and Science) can apply for the course. The programme focusses on commerce, economic and management related subjects. The course bolsters the analytical and theoretical knowledge and understanding of Business Administration.

Now, moving on to the question as to how can I get admission in MBA. To seek admission in MBA, interested candidates must clear entrance exam such as CAT, XAT, GMAT, NMAT, etc. It is these entrance tests that qualify candidates for admission. To get admission in any IIM (Indian Institute of Management), interested and eligible candidates must clear CAT (Common Entrance Test). In the case of other business schools, other above-mentioned entrance exams need to be cleared.
Once the students have cleared these entrance tests, the candidates shortlisted for IIM’s or any other leading institute have to clear an essay writing test. The next round, that is common for admission in any business school is the group discussion ending with the interview round. Group discussion and interview rounds are to test the communication skills and personality traits of the individuals. Selected candidates can then take admission in the respective institutes.
