ICARS’s Entrepreneurship Cell(IEC) is one of India’s leading centres catalyzing the entrepreneurship ecosystem globally through its various interventions and initiatives. IEC was set-up by ICASR in association with SNVA Ventures and some other angel Investors and Venture Capital Funds to provide seeding and incubation support with a focus on technology and mass impact areas. Since 2015, IEC has accelerated over 25 startups across various sectors. IEC’s journey so far has had enormous contributions from ICASR’s alumni who have come forward and supported the cause in multiple ways.
With the aim of having IEC as the top name associated with entrepreneurship, we continuously strive to deliver disproportionate impact to entrepreneurship globally by backing purpose-driven entrepreneurs harnessing the power of technology to solve some of world’s toughest problems using business models that are specific to India and USA.
We know that it takes more than just early stage risk-capital to get a company off the ground – we enable most of what may be required by entrepreneurs through seed-funding, incubation, mentoring, training, knowledge dissemination and best practice research. Through all these interventions, IEC helps entrepreneurs turn ideas into viable businesses. In partnership with our mentors, corporates, development agencies, ICASR community and investors, IEC cultivates a rare breed of entrepreneurs that have an unmatched ability to bring about disruptive change globally.
We motivate all our students to become an Entrepreneur and solve some of the business and social problems.
