ICASR (International Center for Advanced Studies & Research) organized a lecture by Mr. Arun Mitra Director, HCN Connect for the students of MBA, BBA and BCA on the topic ‘SALES and LEADERSHIP’ on 4 Jan 2019. Mr. Arun Thakral gave a motivational talk about “How to get into an organization and what an organization want from it people”. He also talked about seven keys to Sales Leadership i.e. How to “create useful success metrics that marks progress”, “provide visionary leadership”, “develop talent and coach relentlessly”,” Pay close attention to your selling roles and understand how you get involved in sales cycles”,” Focus on creating value in the sales process”,” Forecast with an understanding of where the customer is in the buying process” and last but not the least is “Motivation with recognition and rewards”, which is most essential as it will boost the morale of an individual, for proper functioning in an organisation. Students were also explained that most remarkable measures are Revenue and Profit contribution. Students participated in discussion very enthusiastically. Mr. Arun solved all queries and doubts of students related to placement and marketing environment. It was an interactive session which added value to the knowledge of the students. Around 60 students of ICASR participated in the session. The event was coordinated by Ms. Ekta Sharma.
